The blind is a robust, high quality, precision built shading system. The blinds can be fitted on sloping roof areas that are greater than 40 degrees above horizontal. It has been specifically designed for external shading where the reduction of solar heat gain is of prime consideration. An R72 blind fitted externally can provide a reduction of heat transmission through glass of up to 90% (when applied to double glazing) and is a very effective barrier against U/V penetration into the building. R72 can be electrically or manually controlled to provide comfortable living or working conditions. Air conditioning plants become more effective and save on running costs. The tilt angle of the louvres may be adjusted to provide shading, but still provide outward vision.
